Why did I start this Podcast?
The idea behind the Podcast is to provide a behind-the-scenes type conversation on how players, coaches, agents, etc. became Overseas Athletes.
I'll speak to them about how the process started, what and who was involved, the details behind how they moved overseas and the lessons theyβve learned.
Over time I want it to be an educational resource for current and future young athletes who want to chase their dreams on a global stage ποΈ
I'm hoping that these interviews will help them along the way. It will also help guide them around important topics such as; agents, visas, contracts, currency management, banking & finance, nutrition, fitness, recovery, overall health, culture, language barriers and sponsorship, along with many other subjects.

π± Currency Update from SportsFX
π¦πΊ Overall we have seen a flat week for the Australian Dollar, with very little change from last Friday to this Friday against most currencies. Small changes of 0.2% - 0.5% are all that we have seen regarding the exchange rates.
Given the risks and concerns about the situation in Israel, the Aussie has been a little bit under pressure from an overall market perspective, and even with higher than anticipated CPI figures, which are now pricing in a potential rate rise next week for Australia, the exchange rates remain unchanged given the overarching uncertainty in the global markets.
πΊπΈ π Even for the week against the USD, sitting at 0.6325 on Friday morning.
