Why did I start this Podcast?
The idea behind the Podcast is to provide a behind-the-scenes type conversation on how players, coaches, agents, etc. became Overseas Athletes.
I'll speak to them about how the process started, what and who was involved, the details behind how they moved overseas and the lessons theyβve learned.
Over time I want it to be an educational resource for current and future young athletes who want to chase their dreams on a global stage ποΈ
I'm hoping that these interviews will help them along the way. It will also help guide them around important topics such as; agents, visas, contracts, currency management, banking & finance, nutrition, fitness, recovery, overall health, culture, language barriers and sponsorship, along with many other subjects.

π¦πΊ The Australian Dollar seemed to gain some support this week with a bullish statement from the RBA governor and the minutes from the latest RBA meeting showing that they are again willing to raise interest rates should it be necessary.
This gave the AUD a bit of a shot in the arm, as it had again dropped and tested the lows of recent weeks, down near the 0.6300 mark against the US Dollar.
This was then undone with lower-than-expected employment figures which has again kept pressure on the Australian Dollar leading into Friday.
Overall a fairly flat week for the AUD, with only a slight change from last Friday, although we have seen some larger swings in there.
πΊπΈ π Up 0.5% for the week against the USD, sitting at 0.6326 on Friday morning.
π¬π§ π Up 0.5% for the week against the GBP, sitting at 0.5210 on Friday morning.
